Workshops are live classroom classes focused on bettering your knowledge on project management and leadership fundamentals. Rather than multi-day marathons, LSM has found that attendees like short, focused tutorials that are highly interactive and fun. LSM workshops range from half-day to full-day with the intent that you’ll return to work armed with a handful of impactful tips and techniques you can immediately put to use on your projects.

These are fee-based but very reasonably priced (not to mention that you can earn PDUs, too)!

Workshops

To book workshops with us, we are flexible to work with your organization either by cost/income sharing (both parties take the risk and both benefit) or where the organizer provides the marketing outreach for a fixed fee (and LSM takes care of everything else).

NEW! The Secret Life of Successful Scrums

An Intensive Agile Refresher Workshop

Up to a half-day of instruction (75 and 90 minute versions ready to go!)

Workshop code: WS-SLA

Synopsis

Are you a traditional project manager struggling with a makeshift agile approach? Even after getting Scrum training, is your team still resistant to becoming agile?

The Secret Life of Successful Scrums workshop is a refresher for those wanting to dive into what really works and to avoid what doesn’t. This isn't a typical “how to Scrum" tutorial. Instead you'll learn a few game-changing practices that will make you a more effective leader of agile project teams.

This introduction to agile has been created from the viewpoint of an experienced software executive who has “lived in the trenches” managing and leading project teams. (Definitely not an academic or consultant who has enjoyed the luxury to walk away after an engagement completes. Nope, I've always lived with the consequences of bad decisions. Agile, specifically Scrum, continues to be a successful approach for technology-based projects.)
